About
Insider Trades publishes short, plain-English news briefs about insider transactions at S&P 500 companies. Each brief is built from a single SEC Form 4 filing — the report a company's officers, directors and large shareholders must submit when they buy or sell that company's stock.
Where the data comes from
All figures — names, job titles, share counts, prices and dates — are taken directly from filings on the public SEC EDGAR system. We do not estimate or fill in missing values; when a filing does not report a number, the brief leaves it out.
How briefs are produced
The pipeline is automated. Filings are parsed by code, each brief is drafted by a language model from the parsed record only, and a second automated pass checks every figure back against the filing and blocks briefs that add outside facts, speculate about motives, or read as investment advice. A mandatory disclaimer is appended to every brief.
What this site is not
This is an independent information source. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission or any government agency. Nothing here is investment advice, and an insider buying or selling stock does not predict how that stock will perform. See our Terms, Disclosure and Privacy Policy.
Corrections
If a brief misstates something in the underlying filing, email naka.kn007@gmail.com with a link to the page and we will correct or remove it.
